Lithographed tin, 1920’s. Used to collect funds for the Jerusalem-based charity of Rabbi Meir Baal Haness, an institution comprising several schools, an orphanage and a home for the aged. With two images showing Jerusalem and the tomb of Rabbi Meir. Text in Hebrew and French. Another example of this box is in the collection of Musée d’Art et d’Histoire du Judaisme, which is the largest French museum of Jewish art and history, it is located in Paris.
