Made of very thick tin with lithographed images. Funds for the “Centrale”, located in Antwerp, which is shorthand for “Central Administration of Jewish Charities”. Text in Flemish and Yiddish stating to whom the funds are distributed, such as the sick, the elderly, and to a “children’s colony”. Late 1940’s. The establishment of the “Centrale” in 1920 was the result of a common effort of the entire Jewish communities of Brussels and Antwerp. It continues to serve the Jewish communities in Belgium today.
